Thomas camped at Penn State over the summer and, clearly, impressed the staff that day. Thomas then returned to campus for three games this past fall. On the field this fall, Thomas had a strong junior campaign recorded 4 interceptions for a strong Pittsburgh Central Catholic defense. Thomas joins Omari Gaines as the first two defensive back commits in Penn State's 2025 class.

Thomas become the 7th member of Penn State's 2025 recruiting class. He joins tight end Brady O'Hara and running back Tiqwai Hayes as in-state members of the class. Adding Thomas also helps Penn State continue with their strong ties to PCC, which is one of the top programs in the state.
