COACHSPEAK: Penn State Football lands an athletic OL in Owen Aliciene
Penn State recently landed their fifth defensive back commit of the 2025 recruiting cycle as one of Connecticut's top prospects in the class, offensive lineman Owen Aliciene committed to the Nittany Lions.
Not too long after the commitment, Happy Valley Insider spoke with his head coach at the Avon Old Farms School, Jon Wholley to help break down what Penn State is getting in the three-star offensive tackle.
HOW IS ALICIENE AS A PLAYER ON THE FIELD: “Owen has developed into a really good prospect and a really good player. He's very athletic, great in pass protection and he's improved dramatically in the run game. He just has that physical nature about him and his best football is ahead of him."
