Hodges is No. 21

After much twisting and turning, Paulsboro (N.J.) defensive back Gerald Hodges has announced he's decided to switch his commitment from Rutgers to the Nittany Lions.
The four-star commitment informed Mark Narducci of the Philadelphia Inquirer last night.

"It was a really hard decision," Hodges told Narducci in a phone interview.. "I had a really good relationship with Rutgers, but I just felt Penn State was the best fit."
Hodges visited Penn State on an unofficial visit back on October 18, as the Nittany Lions beat Michigan. Since then, he had been torn between the Scarlet Knights and Nittany Lions.
He was a four-year starter at Paulsboro, and led the Red Raiders to two South Jersey Group 1 titles and four conference championships during his tenure. He led Paulsboro to a 10-1 record as a senior before bowing out of the playoffs against eventual champ Glassboro.
Hodges will enroll at Penn State in January.
