New Jersey OL Michael Troutman discusses Penn State commitment

On early Sunday afternoon, New Jersey offensive lineman Michael Troutman announced his commitment to the Penn State Nittany Lions, becoming the program's 11th commitment of the 2025 recruiting cycle.

The interior offensive lineman continues a hot run on the recruiting trail for James Franklin and his staff becoming the fourth player to commit to the program since January 24 and their third in the last seven days. He's also the Nittany Lions second offensive line commitment in the class joining Connecticut offensive tackle Owen Aliciene who committed to the program late last month.

Recently, Happy Valley Insider was able to catch up with Troutman to discuss his decision to commit to Penn State.
