Top 15 - Penn State, Cal, Florida, Iowa State, Kentucky, Louisville, LSU, Maryland, Mich. State, Pitt, S. Carolina, TCU, Va. Tech, W. Virginia, Wisconsin

After visiting Pitt and West Virginia earlier in the month, Raines was back in State College Feb. 25 for the staff's first big Jr. Day of the 2018 cycle. Both the Panthers and the Mountaineers are expected to be Penn State's top competitors once he gets closer to a decision, but Raines is planning to check out a few SEC schools when he gets the chance this summer. In the meantime, he's already planned a return trip to Penn State on March 25, which is the same weekend the staff plans to host multiple top prospects from western Pennsylvania. Raines may also spend the night in State College that weekend. Additional visits to Pitt and WVU are also probable between now and the end of April, but the Lions should in the mix throughout Raines' recruitment.

Top 6 - Penn State, Maryland, N. Carolina, Tennessee, Va. Tech, W. Virginia

Simmons just visited Penn State a few weeks ago for junior day, Feb. 25. He also visited North Carolina, Feb. 18, and was at Tennessee on Saturday, March 4. Additional visits are expected this spring and we don't believe he's in a rush to make a decision. We do know that Penn State would like to add two more wide receivers in this year's class, so Simmons remains an important prospect for both James Franklin and Josh Gattis. The Nittany Lions are in a good position, but we'll have a better idea where they specifically stand once he takes a few more visits later this month.
