New Jersey wide receiver and Class of 2018 prospect Justin Shorter made a big jump in the most recent Rivals100 rankings.

Following a busy summer, which included several top performances at camps across the nation, the Monmouth Junction native was recognized for his hard work, moving up 40 spots, from No. 83 to No. 43 in the latest rankings. He also sits at No. 9 overall at the wide receiver position, up four spots.

But Shorter wasn't the only future Nittany Lion to move up in the rankings. Running back Ricky Slade also saw his ranking move in the right direction, moving up 11 spots to No. 56 overall.

Although the staff only has a few scholarships remaining in its Class of 2018, three of their top remaining targets also landed in the latest Rivals100. As expected, five-star DE Micah Parsons remains one of the nation's most coveted prospects, coming in at No. 6 overall. However, OL Rasheed Walker and DT Tyreke Smith also made big jumps in the latest rankings. Walker moved up 44 spots to No. 49 overall, while Smith, who was originally outside of the Rivals100, moved up more than 50 spots to No. 53 overall.
