Elba High School (AL) four-star running back Alvin Henderson took to social media today to announce that he has decommitted from Penn State and will flip his commitment to Auburn.

The 5-foot-10, 190-pound running back has been committed to Penn State since April 11th, just a few days after his first trip to campus. Now despite the commitment, Auburn never gave up their pursuit of the local top recruit and ended up winning in the end.

STING FACTOR -- 7/10

While losing Henderson definitely stings a bit because he is a top three running back prospect and also ranks among the best recruits in the country this recruiting cycle, Penn State still has two other very good backs committed in four-star Tiqwai Hayes and high three-star Kiandrea Barker.

On top of it all, the Nittany Lions are hosting the state's top running back prospect and No. 125 overall recruit in the country Jabree Coleman on an Official Visit this weekend. If they are able to land him, then it would be a more then suitable replacement for Henderson as the third running back in this cycle.
