Penn State hosted its top remaining Class of 2019 defensive line this past weekend in Queens, N.Y., prospect Jared Hunte.

Since March, the 6-foot-4, 285 pound defensive tackle has been a regular visitor at Penn State, as Saturday was his sixth trip to State College to meet with James Franklin and his staff. However, unlike the previous visits, this was Hunte’s first experience inside Beaver Stadium for a game.

“It was a great experience,” said Hunte. “The energy of 110,000 fans yelling at the White Out was a crazy experience. It was nothing like I’ve ever experienced before. Also, James Franklin spoke to me as if I was one of his players already. What more can you ask for?”
