The top player out of the Keystone State is Imhotep Charter's Zahir Mathis coming in at No.6 nationally. Mathis holds nearly 20 reported offers including Alabama, Florida, Georgia, Michigan, Michigan State, Oregon, Penn State, Texas A&M, and USC. Penn State is a player early on for Mathis and should be throughout his recruitment but will be a tough recruitment for the Nittany Lions to win.

The Penn State legacy is a top-60 player in the country and is currently ranked as a safety, it will be intriguing to see where he ends up at the next level due to his size. Georgia, Miami (FL), Michigan, Notre Dame, Ohio State, Penn State, South Carolina, Tennessee, Virginia Tech, West Virginia, and Wisconsin are among his early notable offers.

The teammate of Zahir Mathis has been committed to Georgia since last summer. Penn State likes the 6-foot-1 and 201-pound running back but it will be tough to flip his commitment from the back-to-back defending national champions.

The Bishop McDevitt quarterback has been super impressive throughout his high school career thus far and has garnered over 20 offers. Boston College, Cincinnati, Georgia, Kentucky, Louisville, Michigan, Minnesota, Nebraska, Rutgers, Texas A&M, Virginia Tech, West Virginia, and Wisconsin are among his notables thus far. Penn State, as you can tell has yet to offer the state's top-ranked signal caller.

One name you may not have heard a ton of so far is Sharlandiin Strange out of Wyncote. The 6-foot-4 defensive end has 10 offers including Boston College, Maryland, Penn Stae, Rutgers, Syracuse, Texas A&M, and West Virginia. An emerging name, plenty of more offers will come for Strange in the near future.

Finally, Tiqwai Hayes out of Aliquippa has been a long-time Penn State target and offeree. On top of his offer from the Nittany Lions, Cincinnati, Louisville, Maryland, Michigan, Michigan State, Pittsburgh, Syracuse, and West Virginia have all offered. He's made several visits to Penn State and the Nittany Lions are in a good spot early.

Finally, Imani Christian Academy linebacker Dayshaun Burnett comes in at No.247 - another Penn State offeree. Burnett has made a handful of trips to Penn State and also holds offers from Michigan State, Pittsburgh, Rutgers, and West Virginia among others. The Nittany Lions are once again in a very good spot for Burnett.
