Penn State hosted St. Peter's Prep defensive end Jayson Ademilola and his brother, linebacker Justin Ademilola, for an unofficial visit on Sunday.

Despite the fact that they're still sophomores, both Jayson and Justin have already emerged as two of New Jersey's top prospects for next season. The two of them also picked up scholarship offers from Penn State head coach James Franklin back in February.

"That was our first time there. We both liked it a lot," said Jayson Ademilola. "The campus was different from some of the other schools. I thought it was very nice. I thought it was a very nice town. We were also able to talk with most of the coaches. We basically talked to the all the coaches on defense and I was able to watch some film with Coach Spencer.

"It was a great environment. I could definitely see myself playing there in the future. It's homey there, I feel comfortable there. It was great."

Up until this past weekend, the brothers only had a few conversations with tight end coach Ricky Rahne over the phone. However, since they were the only two recruits on campus Sunday, that gave the staff an opportunity to devote all of their time to the Ademilola family.

"Most of the conversations have been through my coach up until now," said Ademilola. "They've been to my school to talk to him a few times, so he just has me and Justin call Penn State here and there. Coach Rahne is my recruiting coach, so I've been talking with him the most, but I feel like I know all of the coaches on defense now after this visit. I also talked with Coach Franklin and Coach Ricky, so we were able to spend a lot of time with coaches. It was nice.”

Jayson went on to add, ”I like that they're a younger staff. I feel like they're easy to relate with. They're all very nice people and they're cool, too. They're a lot like my coaches now. They're easy to talk with and I feel comfortable around them."

Ademilola also went into a few specifics when it comes to what stood out about Penn State’s facilities and campus.

“Since we were there on Sunday, we didn't get to watch a practice,” he said. “We mainly just toured the facilities, but we were also able to see a few specific buildings. For example, I’m looking into studying business or communications, so they took us over to the business school. They have one of the best business schools in the nation. I liked that a lot. It's a nice modern look, very nice.

"We also got to check out the stadium, too. We toured the stadium then and went down on the field. That was a lot of fun. It’s impressive.”

Jayson, who stands at 6-3, 265 pounds, and Justin, who stands at 6-3, 234 pounds, have both earned at least 10 scholarship offers. Auburn, Boston College, UConn, Georgia, Michigan, Michigan State, Penn State, Rutgers, Temple and Virginia are the 10 schools that have offered both. Maryland and Miami have also offered Jayson.

Since both have already picked up a handful of elite offers, that’s given them the opportunity to visit see a few of those schools this spring.

"The past three weeks we've been to Rutgers, Michigan State, Michigan, Ohio State and now Penn State. I'm also going to Maryland this upcoming weekend. Justin will also be coming with me for Maryland."
