Times, TV announced for four PSU football games

The Big Ten announced its media partners (ABC Sports, ESPN, ESPN2 and ESPN Regional Television) selection of 23 Big Ten home football games they will broadcast nationally, regionally or locally during the 2004 season.  In addition, the Conference said that no fewer than nine non-conference games where the Big Ten is the visiting team would also be televised.
Other television selections will be made by the networks during the fall.

For Penn State, it’s opener against Akron on Sept. 4 at Beaver Stadium will kickoff at noon on ESPN. The Lions also host UCF Sept. 18 at noon on ESPN Regional and the following week travel to Wisconsin for a 5:45 or 6 p.m. kickoff on ESPN or ESPN2. The Lions Oct. 9 matchup with Purdue at Beaver Stadium kicks off at 4:30 p.m. on ESPN.
Additionally, note that Penn State is scheduled to play at Minnesota on Oct. 2. However, at 11:10 a.m. (CT) that day the Minnesota Twins have a home game at the Metrodome. That means the Penn State-Minnesota game will be played at night or on a weekday night.
