- On the trip overall

"We went on a complete tour of campus. I saw the academic center and the football facilities. The coaches and I talked about how they were glad to finally meet and that they like me as a player. One thing that stood out was their coaches sitting down with my parents and talking to them with an academic advisor. Also, it was fun talking to the coaches in general, plus seeing Beaver Stadium."

- On the facilities

"I liked the stadium a lot. Just walking in there, it felt like there was 107 thousand people in there. The locker room was also really cool. It was different from any other I've seen before. While on campus, I got to go through the town. You could tell it was a real college town and that the people there really care about their team."

- On where PSU stands following this visit

"I really like PSU after this visit. The visit itself was different than any other. I will most definitely visit Penn State again. They definitely have a chance to make my cut when I do that down the road."

- Ryan's Take

It's not going to be easy to pluck Armstrong from the south, but Penn State did an excellent job at showing Armstrong and his parents what the school can offer academically. That left a very big impression on his parents.
