Penn State's series with Pittsburgh will continue through the 2018 and 2019 seasons, the Nittany Lions traveling back to Pittsburgh next year before returning to Beaver Stadium.

After that, it'll take a hiatus.

Announced Monday afternoon, the Nittany Lions revealed their nonconference schedule for the 2020 season, adding games against Nevada (Sept. 5) and San Jose State (Sept. 19). Both games are to be played at Beaver Stadium, sandwiching a Sept. 12 date at Virginia Tech that kicks off a two-year home-and-home with the Hokies that will feature the return date in 2025.

Additionally, Penn State has also announced that it will host Bowling Green on Sept. 7, 2024.

Penn State's future nonconference schedules will also include Auburn in 2021 and 2022 (home and away, respectively), and West Virginia in 2023 and 2024 (home and away, respectively).

One open nonconference date remains for the 2021 season.
