Penn State announces kickoff time for Blue-White Spring Game
Penn State football has announced the kickoff time for their 2024 Blue White Spring Game.
The Nittany Lions' annual spring game will be played on April 13 with kickoff at 2:00 p.m. ET in Beaver Stadium. There is no other information currently available for the game including if the game will be televised. The Nittany Lions previously announced the April 13 date in late November.
Last season, the Nittany Lions spring game took place on Saturday, April 15 with the game televised on the Big Ten Network after the program's 2021 spring game was not televised instead choosing to go with virtual initiatives for the practice.
The game was also limited to first-year students of the University Park campus, families, and guests of student-athletes, coaches, and staff. No general attendance was allowed for the 2021 game due to COVID restrictions at the time.
Other programs that are currently set to hold spring games on the 13 include Florida, Pittsburgh, Virginia Tech, and Cincinnati.
WHEN DOES PENN STATE BEGIN SPRING PRACTICES?
Penn State has not announced any set date for the start of spring practice. That being said, each college football program has the opportunity to conduct 15 on-field practices over a 34-day period.
With the April 13, Blue-White game being the final of 15's practices for the spring, that would mean the Nittany Lions can begin spring practices starting Sunday, March 10 - which coincides with the return of students from spring break which runs from March 3 through March 9.
