Penn State vs. Delaware: Key depth pieces to watch on Saturday

The Penn State Nittany Lions will take on the Delaware Blue Hens on Saturday afternoon in what should be a game the Nittany Lions cruise to victory. If the Nittany Lions do get out to a big lead at halftime and early in the third quarter as expected, Penn State should get plenty of their depth players time on the field this weekend.

Below, Happy Valley Insider looks at 12 Nittany Lions that we'll be watching closely from a depth perspective.

WR Omari Evans

After missing last week's action against West Virginia with an undisclosed ailment, Evans was practicing this week and could be out there on Saturday when the Nittany Lions take on the Blue Hens. Evans is a player we've been watching closely coming into this season as a potential breakout player in the Nittany Lions wide receiver room. The Texas native has plus athleticism and speed but is just in his second year of playing the position full-time after doing a little bit of everything in high school. This would be a quality matchup for Evans to get things going this season if he does, in fact, play on Saturday.
