We'll start in the recruiting world, where three-star offensive tackle Andre Roye has decided to delay his decision, according to Rivals' Adam Friedman.

Entering Wednesday, the three-star offensive tackle from Maryland was set to pick between Maryland, Rutgers, Penn State, and N.C. State, but he's now pushed his announcement back until sometime this coming weekend.

Thursday, Sept. 23 update: Well, the delay didn't last as long as expected. Roye committed to PSU tonight.

Moving on to alumni in the NFL, Odafe Oweh was selected as the AFC's defensive player of the week after a huge performance in Sunday's one-point win over the Kansas City Chiefs, while Micah Parsons was picked as PFF's rookie of the week.

According to Penn State football, Saturday's edition of ESPN's 'College GameDay' from the Old Main lawn was the most-watched Week 3 episode of the popular pregame program since 2016.

From time to time we will give you some off-the-wall college football news of note, and one coach spending almost $15,000 on beer to entice people to come watch his team play marks one of those times.
