Penn State hosted one of the region’s fastest-rising prospects for an unofficial visit Saturday in offensive lineman Olu Fashanu.
A 6-foot-5, 290 pound offensive tackle from Gonzaga in Washington, D.C., Fashanu began grabbing the attention of schools back in the summer, but it wasn’t until they got a close look at his film this season that the offers began rolling in. Over the past two months, Boston College, Ohio State, Rutgers, Syracuse and Virginia all made the move. Penn State joined that race while he was on campus this past weekend.
